Client:
Integrated health plan and care delivery system for Medicare and Medicaid patients
Problem:
EDI system did not handle file access problems, causing the entire EDI system to stop. Each time this occurred, the system had to be manually cleaned up and restarted, causing processing delays and wasted time.

Solution:
Created Java component to perform thorough exception handing. Manual cleanup and restarts were no longer required.
Need Test Cases
Client:
Large Medicaid managed care provider.
Problem:
Before sending files to Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services, hundreds of test cases with anonymous demographic information were needed to ensure compliance. These test cases had to be created by hand, requiring months of manual labor.

Solution:
Created a rule-based system to de-identify "real" files to produce each of these test cases.
Scheduled Deployments
Client:
Large health care delivery system with extensive Medicare and Medicaid experience.
Problem:
Deployments of system updates were occurring daily and each daily deployment was encountering problems to the labor-intensive manual procedure.

Created an automated DevOps tool to perform deployments on schedule and execute tasks based on the required approval process.
