Client:
Provides health benefit plans, programs and services in the Northeast.
Problem:
Each time business rules were changed by state or federal regulations, or by employer requirements, the in-house software connected to the EDI system had be reprogrammed, requiring the full cycle or rebuilding the software, testing, QA and release. Business rule changes occurred every 3 to 5 days, and the entire system was become unworkable.

Solution:
Created a library of rules where business rules could simply be updated and tested, without any programming changes of the main product. That eliminated the full cycle of rebuilding, testing, QA and release.

One of the largest Medicaid managed care organizations
Problem:
A licensing mishap was causing a 3 month delay in project delivery, with risk of project being delivered over-budget and very late.

Solution:
Developed custom database reader & writer components, allowing project to complete on-time and on-budget, while licensing issues were resolved.
